Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives at the intersection of gaming, tooling, and AI, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with digital development studios. Beyond just selling technology, you'll be instrumental in inspiring and empowering the next generation of game developers through Live Aware's growth and market adoption in 2025 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with CEO to drive new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with game development studios of all sizes
Bring your expertise and passion to every conversation, helping teams understand how Live Aware can transform their development process
Directly contribute to executing full sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
Build and maintain authentic relationships with key decision-makers within digital development studios
Clearly articulate Live Aware's value proposition across different use cases including internal build reviews, external playtesting, creative direction, and competitive analysis
Collaborate with Developer Relations and Product teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and adoption
Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in Hubspot CRM
Provide market feedback and gaming industry insights to product and leadership teams to inform product development and go-to-market strategy
Required Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in gaming or development tools
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience selling technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
Active participant in development communities with strong understanding of industry trends and player needs
Passionate and proactive in building a sustainable and scalable sales playbook and motion
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience with enterprise sales cycles and complex deal structures
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
Ability and willingness to travel and participate in multiple domestic and international industry events
Preferred Qualifications
Established network of relationships with senior decision-makers across major gaming studios, publishers, and independent developers
Track record of leveraging industry relationships to drive business growth
Active participation in gaming industry events, conferences, and communities
Direct experience in the gaming industry
Experience selling B2B, AI/ML solutions
Knowledge of game engine technologies (Unity, Unreal)
Experience with developer tools or platforms

Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Total compensation will include competitive commission structure, equity package in a venture-backed startup, comprehensive benefits including healthcare coverage, flexible remote work, and covered industry events. Base salary may vary based on experience, qualifications and location.
Base Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000
