Desktop Recorder Gets Simplified Experience & Powerful New Features

Get ready for our biggest update to the Live Aware Desktop Recorder! Today, we're thrilled to release a full revamp that makes recording and streaming effortless while unlocking powerful new controls.

The first thing you'll notice after updating, is the simplified interface focused on ease-of-use. We've stripped away clutter and complexity to give you a clean, modern streaming experience.

But this update is more than just a cosmetic upgrade. Under the hood, we're also adding more granular controls over your video settings. Set your resolution for local recordings up to 4K, and dial-in your preferred bitrate for streaming.

Team Chat is now in the Desktop Recorder! Your full team can chat in real-time from Live Aware with anyone streaming to the same Event, and it can be recorded as a separate audio track. Once recorded, it’s automatically transcribed and added as another data source into your Insights Dashboard, so get chatty!

This release also delivers one of our most requested features: you can now create Slices in real time while streaming and recording! You can define as many Slice triggers as you need, and create Slices at any time with the hotkeys you decide.
